Gong Hyo Jin Receives Praise From Noh Hee Kyung, Writer of “It’s Okay, It’s Love”

During the end of drama celebration held on September 11 for “It’s Okay, It’s Love,” writer Noh Hee Kyung praised Gong Hyo Jin’s acting. She stated, “No one could have pulled off the character of Ji Hae Soo. It was only possible because it was Gong Hyo Jin.” She continued, “[Gong Hyo Jin] was so lovable, and her passion was endless. She did so well that it made me think how grateful and glad I was to work with such an actress. If the opportunity comes I’d be honored to work with her again.”

Gong Hyo Jin also expressed her admiration for Noh Hee Kyung, whose work had been Gong Hyo Jin’s drama debut. Prior to “It’s Okay, It’s Love,” Gong Hyo Jin had already mentioned on numerous occasions that if the opportunity came she would be willing to work with the star writer again. Behind stories reveal that Gong Hyo Jin had already been cast into another project before this drama. However, the filming was continuously delayed, so she met up with Noh Hee Kyung after receiving permission from the production team. Through her role as Ji Hae Soo, she widened her spectrum of characters and proved herself to be an irreplaceable actress.

Meanwhile, Gong Hyo Jin will be taking a break as she rests and receives physical therapy for her injuries that she had received from an accident that occurred right before the drama started.
