Hong Jong Hyun Admits Keeping Contact with Girl's Day Yura Outside "We Got Married"

Fans of the on-screen couple of model-actor Hong Jong Hyun and Girl’s Day’s Yura have a reason to celebrate.

On the September 21 episode of MBC’s “Section TV Entertainment Relay,” model-actor Hong Jong Hyun talked about his relationship with his on-screen “wife,” Yura of Girl’s Day.

“We’ve become closer,” said Hong Jong Hyun on his “married life” with his on-screen partner, Yura.

When asked by the reporter whether he gets in touch with Yura even outside the show, Hong Jong Hyun said, “(We don’t contact each other often but) we contact each other every now and then. (I contacted her) when Girl’s Day got the first place. I texted her congratulations.”

During the interview, Hong Jong Hyun also revealed that he likes the type of girl who’s comfortable and added that he’s the type to show his affection a lot when he likes somebody.

Meanwhile, Hong Jong Hyun is starring alongside Song Yoon Ah in the new drama, “Fearless Mama” which will air on MBC. He plays the role of Goo Ji Sub, a photographer son of an interior company CEO who falls in love with an older woman, Han Seung Hee (Song Yoon Ah), who doesn’t have much time to live.
