"Scarlet Innocence" Actors Jung Woo Sung and Lee Som Pair up as Lovers for 1st Look Pictorial

Actor Jung Woo Sung and actress Lee Som have paired up to shoot a pictorial for the magazine “1st Look” which was done in part to promote their movie “Scarlet Innocence.”

The movie tells the story of 37-year-old Shim Hak Kyu (played by Jung) who leaves the city to begin teaching literature in the countryside. There, he falls in love with a young woman Deok Yi (played by Lee). As Shim Hak Kyu gradually falls in love with this woman who is seventeen years his junior, he slowly begins to acquire blindness.

During the interview that following the shoot, both talked honestly about their new film. Jung Woo Sung said, “I felt like I had to show a new side of Hak Kyu rather than showing a new side of myself. It was difficult but enjoyable and I feel quite accomplished.” Lee Som said, “This was my first title role so I feel very responsible for everything. I want to introduce myself through this myself and get evaluated as well.”
