It has been confirmed that singer-actor Seo In Guk, as well as actors Lee Sung Jae and Jo Yoon Hee will star as the lead roles in KBS’ new Wednesday-Thursday drama titled “The King’s Face.”
On September 24, a representative of the drama told Star News, “Lee Sung Jae, Seo In Guk, and Jo Yoon Hee have confirmed their casting and are planning to have the first full script reading on September 25.”
“The King’s Face” is a fusion historical drama that tells the story of Prince Gwang Hae—the son of a concubine who overturns his destiny and fatefully becomes the crown prince by using his face-reading abilities.
Seo in Guk will be taking on the role of Prince Gwang Hae while Lee Sung Jae will be playing King Seon Jo, as they fight for the love of Kim Ga Hee, played by Jo Yoon Hee.
Meanwhile, “The King’s Face” is set to premiere around the end of October or the beginning of November, following the completion of “Blade Man.”
