Super Junior's Kim Heechul Shows Heartfelt Support for Sungmin, Hopes Everyone Does the Same

Super Junior member Kim Heechul has voiced his support for his co-member Lee Sungmin after news reports revealed yesterday, September 24, that Super Junior member Sungmin is dating actress Kim Sa Eun. 

On the wee hours of September 25, Heechul took to Instagram his message of support for his “brother,” Sungmin along with a photo of them.

“Although he’s not my real brother.. kk My brother Lee Sungmin. You’re still ‘Sweet Pumpkin’ in my phonebook. Isn’t there a saying that goes, ‘Boil a lot of sweet pumpkin..because I ate it all ^-^’… I forgot kkk Sungmin, who has always been quiet and never had any accident, is (suddenly) so busy today.. ^-^,” Heechul started talking about Sungmin.

Heechul then followed with his appeal to ELF and everyone reading the post: “There’s something I’ve perpetually said. ‘Hey, you cannot hit Sungmin even with a flower.’ Right, you cannot hit Sungmin with a flower nor with my face (which is a flower, right. Of course, of course) kk Even though I don’t know whether I’m over-acting too much during these promotions.. our members depended on each other enjoyably even though everyone was (having it) hard. It will be like that even in the future. So let’s all hold hands and be together for a long long time like oppa (older brother), dongsaeng (younger sibling), unnie (older sister), noona (older sister)!!.”

“I’m one who hates talks that make you shrivel but our Sungmin… our Sungmin who hasn’t cried anywhere, anytime… said, “Hyung.. I’m sorry… to the fans.. and to the members…,” which upset me so I’m like this… ,” Heechul explained his reasons for his heartfelt post.

He then followed it with a request, “The road that Sweet Pumpkin is taking might not be a silk road, but let’s not make it a thorny road~ I love you, my kids!! Even if this is Kim Heechul who cannot even make a heart properly ㅠㅠ bbuing bbuing,” which he ended on a sweet note.

Meanwhile, a photo of Sungmin together with Kim Sa Eun and their “The Three Musketeers” co-actor Kim Beop Rae has surfaced, showing the warm relationship between the two. The photo was posted on Kim Sa Eun’s Facebook page on September 14 and is said to have been taken at the rehearsal area for the musical “The Three Musketeers.”

“At ‘The Three Musketeers’ rehearsal room. Shan, Ming, Beop Rae sunbae-nim,” said the post. In the photo, Kim Sa Eun and Sungmin had cute V poses as they chilled with their senior in the rehearsal room. Fans speculate that “Shan” and “Ming” are the nicknames that the two gave to each other.

Sungmin and Kim Sa Eun, who have met through the musical “The Three Musketeers” last year, are said to have begun having feelings for each other as they play their roles of D’Artagnan (Sungmin) and Constance (Kim Sa Eun) in the musical.
