Actress Honey Lee Will Be Showing Off Her Gayageum Playing Skills at the Gayageum Festival
Actress Honey Lee will be playing the gayageum, a Korean traditional instrument, along with her mother and older sister. According to her entertainment agency, she will be participating in the Gayageum Festival to be held on September 26 and 27.
Honey Lee’s mother is a professor at the prestigious Ewha Women’s University and teaches intangible culture and her older sister Lee Seul Gi is a professional gayageum player as well. Honey Lee herself has been playing the instrument ever since she was four years old.
The three will be playing the song “Ga Moo,” and are garnering much expectation from fans. Furthermore, Lee Honey has been acting as the honorary ambassador of the festival for two consecutive years and has been seen doing a lot of hard work in order to promote this particularly unique instrument.
