“Superstar K6” Records Highest Viewer Rating Yet, Cover of Park Hyo Shin’s “Wild Flower” Achieves All-Kill

According to Nielsen Korea on September 27, the broadcast of Mnet’s audition program “Superstar K6” that aired on September 26 recorded its highest viewer rating yet with 5.1%, which showed a 0.1% increase from last week’s episode.

More and more viewers have been tuning in to the show, as performances are starting to heat up among the contestants through group and collaboration stages.

On the latest broadcast, contestants Im Do Hyuk and Jang Woo Ram have been receiving attention for singing together after being pitted against one another for the ‘rival mission.’ The two harmonized their voices perfectly for a cover of Park Hyo Shin’s “Wild Flower,” earning praise from all of the judges.

Meanwhile, the digital single released for Im Do Hyuk and Jang Woo Ram’s “Wild Flower” has achieved an all-kill on music charts following the broadcast.

On a previous episode, contestants Kwak Jin Un, Kim Feel, and Im Do Hyuk also received praise for their performance from judges, who said that it may have been the best they’ve seen in all six years of past seasons of “Superstar K.” Their very own group rendition of “Only You,” originally by Lee Chi Hyun & Friends, became a hit on music charts as well.
