Girls' Generation Star Yuri Opens Weibo Account

Girls’ Generation member Yuri has opened an account on Chinese social network platform Weibo.

The star celebrated with an inaugural post, part in Chinese, part in Korean. The Chinese section read, “Hello, I have just started Weibo. I am so happy to meet you all on Weibo. Please a lot of attention to me!”

Below this, she wrote in Korean, “I have started Weibo. Follow follow me!”

Yuri also posted a photograph of herself wearing a striking leopard-print outfit and a unique necklace.

The star’s bandmates Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun (collectively known as TaeTiSeo) are currently enjoying the success of “Holler,” the subunit’s most recent release.

Girls’ Generation has also caused a stir recently in Japan, where the group’s compilation album, “The Best,” reached Number 1 in the Oricon Album Chart in late summer.
