"Secret Door" Close to Surpassing "The Night Watchman" in Ratings

While  MBC‘s fantasy historical drama “The Night Watchman” still holds the best ratings for the Monday-Tuesday drama slot, SBS‘s latest drama “Secret Door” is quickly catching up.

The September 30 episode of “The Night Watchman” saw a 10.2% rating, according to Nielsen Korea. Meanwhile, the fourth episode of “Secret Door” that aired during the same time resulted in a 10.0% rating. Although with a 7.9% rating for the previous episode “Secret Door” seemed unlikely to surpass “The Night Watchman” any time soon, with the increase in the viewership, the new historical drama is now very close to surpass its competitor. “The Night Watchman” fell 0.3% from the previous episode’s rating of 10.5%.

Meanwhile, KBS‘ romance drama that airs during the same time slot, “Discovery of Love,” had a rating of 7.7%.
