B1A4’s Baro Reveals He Felt Depressed After Completion of "Reply 1994"

During the final broadcast of tvN’s “Youth Over Flowers in Laos,” which aired on October 3, B1A4’s Baro confessed that he had fallen into a depression last year, following the end of his drama “Reply 1994.”

Baro shared, “I was happy at the time of [filming] ‘Reply 1994.’ Although I didn’t have a lot of screen time, I would still visit the set and watch because I got to see my ‘hyungs,’ even when I had no filming schedules. But after ‘Reply 1994’ came to an end, I became depressed.”

The B1A4 member continued, “For the first time, I felt lonely. During ‘Reply 1994,’ I wasn’t lonely at all. When people would tell me they had enjoyed watching ‘Reply 1994,’ those words made me feel sad. I felt conflicted between my actor self and my singer self.”

After hearing Baro’s concerns, actor Yoo Yeon Seok comforted him by saying, “You don’t have to think about it like that. From other people’s point of view, they were giving you positive messages.”

Hopefully we’ll be able to see Baro in another acting project in the near future!
