
Crayon Pop to Officially Debut in Japan Next Month
Girl group Crayon Pop has recently signed with Japanese entertainment company, Pony Canyon, to officially kick off their activities in Japan.
The news of their Japanese debut was revealed on October 4, when the group performed at the 2014 First Chrome Family in JAPAN Concert.
One of the leading record labels in Japan, Pony Canyon is well known for representing local artists like w-inds., and aiko, as well as Hallyu stars Jang Geun Suk, B1A4, and BTS.
Crayon Pop will make their official debut with a mini album on November 19. In addition to containing Japanese versions of their Korean hits, the album includes one previously unreleased song.
“After unveiling the mini album on October 19, we will release an official debut album next year. We are now excited. We hope to meet many of our Japanese fans soon,” the members expressed.
Meanwhile, Crayon Pop’s first sub-unit, Strawberry Milk, will debut on October 15.
