“Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook” Offers Opportunity for Possible Taeyang-Ailee Duet Stage

On the October 10 broadcast of KBS’ “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook,” solo singer Ailee appeared as a guest to perform and sit down for an interview.

During the interview, Ailee was given an opportunity to talk to BIGBANG’s Taeyang, whom she has stated she is a fan of, through a surprise phone conversation.

MC Yoo Hee Yeol told Taeyang, “Ailee says she loves your music. She really loves your music, but what are your plans for the end of the year?” Taeyang responded, “I don’t have much else planned other than a concert.”

The MC continued to steer the two singers closer by asking the BIGBANG member, “Can I ask you for a favor? I want to make a stage for you to sing a duet song together with Ailee. What do you think?” At the offer, Taeyang answered, “I think that would be awesome,” willingly accepting the possibility, while Ailee was also quick to say, “Of course, I’m totally okay with it. Is that even a question?”

Before ending the phone call, Ailee shared her admiration for Taeyang, and he told her that he provided his autographed album through Yoo Hee Yeol, with a personalized note: “To Ailee! Congratulations on your comeback. I’m a big fan of you!! God Bless!”
