“Tomorrow Cantabile” Off to a Solid Start, Second Place in Ratings

KBS‘ latest drama “Tomorrow Cantabile” started off with a solid 8.5% in ratings, second place after “The Night Watchman.” “Secret Door” was in third place, with a 7% rating.

“Tomorrow Cantabile’s” ratings were actually not too far from the those of “The Night Watchman,” which scored a 9.3% rating on October 13.

The first episode of “Tomorrow Cantabile” saw the first fateful meeting between the two protagonists, Cha Yoo Jin (Joo Won) and Seol Nae Il (Shim Eun Kyung).

Based on the popular Japanese manga series called “Nodame Cantabile,” “Tomorrow Cantabile” tells the story of two young eclectic music students who fall in love.

The reactions to the first episode have been generally positive. “Tomorrow Cantabile” airs on KBS every Monday and Tuesday.
