Girl’s Day Sojin Confirmed to Star in New SBS Drama as the Role of a Divorcee

Girl’s Day member Sojin will be transforming into the role of a divorcee with her return to the small screen through an upcoming drama.

On October 16, a representative of Girl’s Day’s agency revealed to MBN Star, “Sojin has been confirmed to appear in SBS’ new weekend drama ‘Family Outing’ (tentative English title). Her filming schedules have not yet been determined.”

Within the drama’s storyline, Sojin will be taking on the role of Choi Dong Joo, a character who goes through a divorce shortly after getting married, and the younger sister of the lead male.

People are showing interest in this casting, as they are curious as to how Sojin will be portraying the role of a divorcee, following her debut as an actress in the drama “Greatest Marriage.”

Meanwhile, “Family Outing” is scheduled to begin airing this December.
