"K-Pop Star 4 " To Start Airing in November with Possible Time Slot Change
SBS‘ popular idiol audition show will be returning for a fourth season near the end of November.
The first round of the main auditions of the show will be held on October 17. Just like the previous season, the judges of “K-Pop Star 4” will be Yang Hyun Suk of Yg Entertainment, Park Jin Young of JYP, and Yoo Hee Yeol of Antenna Music.
Last season, Yoo Hee Yeol replaced BoA, who reppresented SM Entertainment.
Despite good reactions, SBS seems unhappy with the ratings for “K-Pop Star 3,” as they are thinking of a different time slot for the fourth season.
One insider added, “There’s always a possibility that it will end up on a different day than Sunday afternoon. It may even do better in a late-night time slot, just like ‘Super Star K.'”
Previous seasons of SBS’ “K-Pop Star” have produced stars like Akdong Musician, Lee Hi, and Park Ji Min.
