
Younha to Leave Her Radio Program "Starry Night" to Focus on Upcoming Album
Singer Younha has announced that she will be stepping down as the DJ of the radio program “Starry Night” to focus on her upcoming album.
Younha has been the DJ of the long-running radio program for the last three years and five months. The November 2 show will be her last as the DJ of the radio program. “Starry Night” is one of the longest running radio show in the country, having started in 1969.
On her departure, Younha commented, “I’ve met so many people through ‘Starry Night,’ and I also spent so much precious time I will never be able to have relive, interacting with the listeners. From now on, as another listener of the radio show, and as someone who may be a guest on the show with new music, I will focus on my album for the next little while. I will be back with an album full of good music, as the singer Younha.”
Additionally, Younha will be holding an end of the year concert series on December 27 and December 28 in Seoul.
