SM Rookie Actor Kim Ian Lands Lead Role in New Drama “Sweden Laundry”

SM Entertainment’s rookie actor Kim Ian has been cast as a lead male role in the upcoming drama titled “Sweden Laundry.”

“Sweden Laundry” is a comic-fantasy drama that tells the story of a female laundromat owner who has the ability to read people’s worries regarding love, friendship, and work.

Kim Ian will be taking on the character of Park Ki Joon, a dentist from a well-to-do household who is known for his perfect qualities, yet possesses quirky charms. It is expected that he will be involved in a love triangle with the main female role, Kim Bom (played by Song Ha Yoon) and the other lead male, Yong Soo Chul (Teen Top’s Changjo).

The SM rookie actor has previously displayed his acting through supporting roles in the drama “To the Beautiful You,” the movies “Pirates” and “Fashion King,” and more.

“Sweden Laundry” will begin airing next month on MBC’s cable channels.
