Kim Gura's Son Kim Dong Hyun Joins Brand New Music as a Trainee

Child actor and aspiring hip-hop star Kim Dong Hyun has become a trainee at Brand New Music.

On November 8, the new trainee, also known for being the son of TV personality Kim Gu Ra, made a surprise appearance at Brand New Day: Brand New’s Brand New concert held in Hongdae’s V-Hall. During the show, Kim Dong Hyun suddenly joined rapper Kanto on stage, and later revealed he has officially joined the company as a trainee.

Brand New Music commented, “It has been a month since Dong Hyun officially entered our agency as a trainee. The Brand New Day concert was his first stage as a rapper, but he did not get nervous and finished the prepared performance well.”

The agency added that Kim Dong Hyun’s official debut stage is planned to take place at the Brand New Year concert held on December 7, but nothing has been set to stone yet.
