TVXQ Sets New Record in Japan, Most Singles Sold for Any Foreign Artist

TVXQ  has set another new record in Japan, as their latest Japanese single has become the best selling single from a foreign artist.

According to the announcement made by the group’s agency SM Entertainment on November 11, “TVXQ’s latest Japanese single ‘Time Works Wonders’ has sold 107,000 copies in its first week.”

With this, TVXQ has sold over 4,088,000 singles in Japan, beating Hong Kong singer Agnes Chan who held the record previously with 4,010,000 singles sold.

On setting a new record, TVXQ expressed their gratitude for their fans. “We are so happy and thankful that we set this new record. It’s all thanks to our fans that we are able to do this. We will continue to sing each song with pride and gratitude.”

TVXQ will be holding their special live concert in Seoul on December 6 and December 7.
