Seo Kang Joon Surprises Lee Gook Joo During Radio Show Hosting Gig

Actor Seo Kang Joon has recently made a surprise visit to his “Roommate” co-star Lee Gook Joo during her special DJ stint at a radio show.

On the November 16 broadcast of “Roommate,” Lee Gook Joo was shown trying her hand at DJ-ing in the radio show, “K.Will’s Youngstreet.”

Before the show started, Lee Gook Joo dropped by the broadcast station’s cafeteria to buy dinner and gave her own version of a “meok-bang” or eating broadcast, making the viewers laugh. As it was her first time to be a radio DJ, Lee Gook Joo was quite nervous. However, one member of her show, “Roommate,” showed up to cheer her on.

Disguising himself as a radio listener who wanted to get an advice from Lee Gook Joo, Seo Kang Joon called the radio show and introduced himself as a guy named Lee Seung Hwan. “My looks are normal. I also want to live with Gook Joo noona,” said Seo Kang Joon over the phone. Although Lee Gook Joo lives with Seo Kang Joon in one house for the show “Roommate,” she wasn’t able to recognize his voice and replied the caller naturally, “There are a lot of people who want to live with me,” and joked with him.

However, Lee Gook Joo quickly felt that something was going on based on the reaction of the writers. “I don’t know why the writers like it this much. Please make this person reveal his identity soon,” requested Lee Gook Joo and while the show was ongoing, Lee Gook Joo’s “roommate” actor Seo Kang Joon made a surprise visit to the show.

“Jackson will get jealous. I will steal Gook Joo noona from Jackson once again,” said Seo Kang Joon as he brought some snacks. Lee Gook Joo wasn’t able to hide her flattery at the sweet gesture of the actor whom she claimed she was awkward with before. 

“It would’ve been okay if you just came here but you even had to bring (food) with you,” said Lee Gook Joo as she thanked Seo Kang Joon for coming to her show.

That’s one point for Seo Kang Joon! Isn’t he sweet? 🙂
