Kim Min Jun Set for Drama Comeback in "Sunam Girls High School Detectives"

Actors Kim Min Jun, Han Ye Joon, and model Jang Ki Yong have confirmed for the new JTBC drama “Sunam Girls High School Detectives.”

The drama is mystery romance based on a hit novel of the same name, and is about five female students who form a group and set out to pick apart unresolved mysteries from around the school area.

Kim Min Jun, making his first drama comeback in two years and four months, will be playing the literature studies teacher Ha Yeon Joon, who has great looks and exceptional smarts. However, differing from his classy image, he is a mysterious entity who drops hints for the student detectives in their investigations.

On his comeback role, the actor said, “I am nervous because it’s my first drama in a while, but at the same time, as it is a fun and unique genre and character, different from my previous works, I am looking forward to it very much.”

Han Ye Joon plays Ha Ra On, Ha Yeon Joon (Kim Min Jun)’s nephew. He is a photographer from a well-to-do household, but is an aloof character with a sharp tongue. His rough relationship with his uncle Ha Yeon Joon ends him up setting his sights on Ahn Chae Yool (Jin Ji Hee)..

Also confirmed for the drama is Jang Ki Yong, who previously appeared in IU’s music videos for “Red Shoes” and “Friday.” Jang Ki Yong plays the older brother of main character Ahn Chae Yool (played by Jin Ji Hee).

Girl’s Day Hyeri will also be appearing in the drama.

“Sunam Girls High School Detectives” will begin airing in December.
