MBLAQ Set to Drop Self-Composed Ballad Album on November 25

Boy band MBLAQ is set to release a ballad album on November 25, according to the group’s talent agency J.Tune Camp. The news follows the recent release of a teaser image uploaded to Twitter on November 18 that appeared to hint at a comeback.

A spokesperson for J.Tune Camp announced, “MBLAQ will release its seventh mini album as a digital download on November 25. It will be a special ballad album made up of songs written by the members of the group themselves.”

Despite uncertainty over the future of the group, it now appears that the act will be going ahead with the release. Although member Lee Joon’s contract is set to expire soon, J.Tune representatives have insisted that his departure has “not yet been confirmed.” The contract of bandmate Thunder is also said to be close to expiring, though J.Tune has not yet made a statement on this matter.

MBLAQ is also slated to play at two concert dates later this month, with performances scheduled for November 29 and November 30 at Seoul’s Olympic Park.
