Figure Skater Kim Yuna and Kim Won Joong Have Reportedly Broken Up
It is being reported that figure skater Kim Yuna and ice hockey player Kim Won Joong have broken up.
According to a report by Star News, “The exact time period of their break-up has not been confirmed, but it is true that they recently ended their relationship.”
Kim Yuna and Kim Won Joong were first introduced to each other in 2010, but they are believed to have become friends in 2012. In March this year, the couple confirmed the dating rumors when news outlet Dispatch released photos of the two spending time together and holding hands. Both of them attend Korea University.
In August, Kim Won Joong got involved in massage parlor controversy while on military service, which raised questions about the state of their relationship.
Meanwhile, Kim Yuna announced her retirement from figure skating earlier this year, while Kim Won Joong has been an active player in the Korea Armed Forces Athletic Corps.
