Hong Jong Hyun Meets Yura's Dad, Gets Asked An Awkward Question

On the most recent episode of the MBC variety show “We Got Married,” Hong Jong Hyun was able to meet Yura‘s father and needless to say, it was quite an interesting meeting between a father and a “son-in-law.”

On the November 29 episode of “We Got Married,” Hong Jong Hyun went to Ulsan together with Yura to visit the latter’s parents. While there, Hong Jong Hyun got to have a talk with Yura’s father and the conversation went an unexpected turn to awkwardville.

“You came all the way to Ulsan, did you have some skinship (with Yura)?,” asked Yura’s father to Hong Jong Hyun. As Hong Jong Hyun seemed to hesitate to answer the question, as many guys would be like when meeting the father of their girlfriend, Yura’s father made a straightforward comment, “Why doesn’t (your skinship with each other) progress?,” and made the couple laugh.

Hong Jong Hyun replied his on-screen “in-law” and said, “I thought that you’ll breathe easier knowing that I’m the one who doesn’t (engage) in skinship a lot unlike the other couples.”

Unlike Yura’s father, her mother seemed to be more on the conservative side and upon hearing what the father and Hong Jong Hyun said, she said her piece. “I’m against (your) skinship (with each other). Didn’t you start your married life without time to date? You need time to know each other (better),” commented Yura’s mother who showed her care for the couple.

Wow, that was some pretty awkward situation, Hong Jong Hyun! :))
