EXO Is 2014's Biggest Selling K-Pop Artist in Japan

Boy group EXO has become the biggest selling k-pop artist in Japan this year, according to Tower Records.

According to the “2014 K-Pop Bestsellers” list released by Tower Records on December 1, EXO’s “Overdose” was the bestselling k-pop record of the year. At the time of the release, “Overdose” topped Tower Records’ preorder, daily, and weekly charts.

2PM‘s Junho came at number two, with his solo Japanese album “Feel.” “Feel” topped the world album chart with all its songs in July when it was released.

SM Entertainment artists took over the other three spots. Girls’ Generation was at third place with “The Best,” while TVXG‘s seventh album “TVXQ Vol.7” came at fourth place. SHINee‘s Japanese album “I’m Your Boy” placed fifth.
