"Misaeng" Hits Highest Viewer Ratings Yet
The popularity of tvN’s hit drama “Misaeng” is showing no signs of slowing down.
On December 5, the 15th episode of the drama recorded average viewer ratings of 7.2% and peaks as high as 9.4%, breaking all previous records.
Among tvN’s target group of males and females aged 20-49, the drama drew in the most viewers out of all shows in the same time slot, including shows airing on terrestrial channels. In the Seoul metropolitan area, the episode hit average ratings of 8.1% with peak ratings as high as 10.8%. The data was gathered by Nielsen Korea.
In the episode, Jang Geun Rae (Im Si Wan) and his colleague Baek Gi (Kang Ha Neul) received a difficult challenge that they had to complete as a team. Through the experience, the two got to know each other more, and finally, they took the first step towards forming an actual friendship.
“Misaeng” airs on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:30 p.m.
