EXID to Continue Remarkable “Up & Down” Revival with “Music Core” Appearance

Girl group EXID is set to appear on the next episode of MBC music show “Music Core,” which is slated to air on December 13.

The group revealed that it would be making an appearance on the show through a message posted on its official Twitter page on December 9. The act is slated to perform the song “Up & Down,” originally a hit for the group when it was released in August this year.

However, “Up & Down” has enjoyed a huge surge in popularity in recent weeks, after fan-taken videos of the group went viral. The renewed popularity of the track led to the song re-entering the charts, months after its initial promotions had come to an end.

A report from media outlet OSEN contained quotes from a representative, who said, “’Up & Down’ has become a success again though social networking sites, and then it hit the charts. As its popularity grade has increased, it was decided that the group should be asked to perform the song on the show again.”
