The music video for GD X Taeyang’s single “Good Boy” is the number one most watched K-pop music video in both the United States and the entire world for November.
Billboard reports, “The duo’s ‘Good Boy’ video was the most watched of last month’s batch of K-pop visuals both in America and around the globe.” According to the columnist Jeff Benjamin, “The clip already amassed more than 15 million overall views making it one of 2014’s most watched K-pop clips overall.”
The magazine also details the duo’s recent success, including “Good Boy” reaching No. 1 on Billboard’s World Digital Songs: “The boy band members’ collaborative single ‘Good Boy’ debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s World Digital Songs, making the duo the third K-pop act to top the chart.”
The music video for GD X Taeyang’s “Good Boy” has attracted attention not only from Billboard but from other leading international press outlets such as FUSE TV, Complex magazine, and HYPETRAK, confirming its global popularity.
The “Good Boy” music video was directed by the world-renowned Colin Tilley and has received attention for its brilliant visuals and unique camerawork. As of the morning of December 13 in Korea, it had surpassed 16.5 million views and was still increasing steadily.
