Song Ga Yeon to Fight in "ROAD FC 020," Lee Gook Joo Chosen as Ring Girl

MMA fighter Song Ga Yeon will be fighting in the upcoming “ROAD FC 020.” Lee Gook Joo has also been chosen as the special ring girl for the game.

Song Ga Yeon, who gained popularity through her appearance on SBS‘ celebrity home-sharing variety show “Roommate,” will be competing in the upcoming championship which will take place on December 14. She will be fighting Japanese jiujitsu fighter, Takano Satomi.

Comedienne Lee Gook Joo will be the special “Road Girl” (ring girl) for the competition. She is the third celebrity to be a Road Girl, after artist Nancy Lang and comedienne Maeng Seung Ji. On choosing Lee Gook Joo as the Road Girl, a representative from ROAD FC commented, “[Lee Gook Joo] is the public’s most beloved woman of 2014, and she has a really good image, so we thought she would be a perfect Road Girl.”
