Ladies’ Code Manager and Families of Deceased Unable to Reach Agreement

The manager for Ladies’ Code is facing two and a half years in prison for his part in the car accident that claimed the lives of members EunB and RiSe in September. Sentencing is scheduled for January 15, 2015.

Prosecutors shared that “When there are damages in a case, there can be a settlement if both parties agree. In this case, the families of the victims were not able to come to an agreement [with the manager].”

The court ruled that the manager was speeding 50 kilometers (31 miles) above the speed limit and his efforts after the accident were lacking.

The manager acknowledged that he broke the law, but sincerely apologized and pleaded for leniency.
