Park Jin Young Coaches “Roommate” Members and Reminisces With Park Joon Hyung

Park Jin Young appears on the next episode of the variety show “Roommate.” Like he does on “K-Pop Star,” he plays the role of singing coach when some “Roommate” members sing for him. He also has a reunion with g.o.d’s Park Joon Hyung and they talk about old times. g.o.d was previously produced by Park Jin Young and debuted through his direction.

During the recording, a few members of the “Roommate” house visited the JYP building to invite Park Jin Young to their Christmas party. Though he was in the middle of working, he greeted them warmly. In contrast to his usual demeanor on the show, Jackson appeared nervous in front of his boss, arousing laughter.

Park Jin Young selected a song to match each roommate – Jo Se Young, Lee Gook Joo, Seo Kang Joon, and Jackson – and each earnestly practiced in the JYP practice room. Lee Gook Joo particularly stood out, who shared that she was a long-time fan of Park Jin Young. She also danced to Park Ji Yoon’s “Coming of Age Ceremony” and the Wonder Girls’ “Tell Me,” both produced by Park Jin Young. He was more than a little shocked by her performance and watched with attention.

Later on, Park Jin Young had a reunion with Park Joon Hyung. The two hadn’t seen each other in a while and so they reminisced, talking about the hard times they went through before g.o.d debuted. Thinking of that time, they said, “Looking back, they’re beautiful memories.” Jackson listened in as they talked about old times and was shocked by how much they struggled. He told Park Jin Young, “I can’t believe that was what you were like.”

This episode with Park Jin Young and the “Roommate” family preparing for their Christmas party will be aired on December 16.
