Jung Hyung Don and Defconn to Produce Female Version of Project Group BIG BYUNG
It has been reported that comedian Jung Hyung Don and rapper Defconn are preparing the debut of a new project group.
The four female idols joining the group are G.NA, After School and Orange Caramel‘s Lizzy, 4Minute‘s Kwon Sohyun, KARA‘s Heo Youngji. Interestingly, all three girl group members are also the youngest (maknaes) of their respective groups.
This will be the first time for a female project group with members from different agencies and groups to promote together. A source in the industry revealed to MyDaily, “Comedian Jung Hyung Don and singer Defconn are behind the formation of such exceptional girl group unit.”
Previously, the two producers debuted their first project group named BIG BYUNG, consisting of Jackson of GOT7, Yook Sungjae of BTOB, as well as N and Hyuk of VIXX, through MBC Every1′s variety show “Hyungdon & Daejun’s Hitmaker.” The show was recently renewed for a second season, which premiered on December 12. The existing footage of BIG BYUNG will reportedly be aired first, followed by episodes that feature the creation of the upcoming girl group.
Meanwhile, BIG BYUNG will be kicking off the 2014 MBC Gayo Daejun by performing the opening stage of the evening.
