SISTAR’s “Planet of the Apes”-Themed Performance Incites Meeting at Starship Entertainment

Talent agency Starship Entertainment ended up calling a meeting after a preview of a special edition of KBS2 music show “Sketchbook” entitled “The Miracle of Christmas 2,“ featuring girl group SISTAR, began to gain attention from K-pop fans.

The girls will appear on the show wearing furry costumes and wild hairstyles as they take to the stage for a “Planet of the Apes”-themed performance.

It appears that the agency may have been concerned that the girls’ costumes for the performance might in some way detract from their usual sexy look and image, and therefore called a meeting about the issue. However, it looks as though a large section of SISTAR fans have actually been impressed by the fact that the group were not overly concerned about looking attractive in the performance, and are look forward to seeing the comedic performance.

The show is slated to air on December 19, and will feature appearances from the likes of 2AM, Dynamic Duo, Gummy, and singer Bobby Kim.
