"2014 SBS Entertainment Awards" Preparing Various Performances in Secret

There is a variety of performances in store at the upcoming “2014 SBS Entertainment Awards.”

On December 19 at a press conference held at the COEX C Hall in Seoul, PD Shin Seong Min, who is in charge of the production of the ceremony, revealed, “Various performances are being prepared but in secret.”

He continued, “There were many unfortunate events that occurred this year, so we wanted the program to be one of encouragement and gratitude. We wanted to create a family-like atmosphere, bringing the viewers and entertainers together as one. The awards are important too, but more than the awards we wanted the ceremony to be about encouragement and camaraderie.”

Effective this year, all of SBS’ end-of-year award ceremonies will be integrated into one large event called the “SBS Award Festival” (“SAF”), which will be held at the COEX from December 20-31. Each program will have a booth, where attendees will get a peek into the behind-the-scenes of the respective show. Fans will also get a chance to participate in contests as well as see their favorite stars in person.
