“Misaeng” Continues to Be a Ratings Hit Until the End

The season finale for tvN drama “Misaeng” concluded the season with very high viewer ratings.

The 20^th episode reached ratings of nine percent throughout the country and 12.5 percent in the capital, according to TNMS. Compared to the first episode which had 1.5 percent nationwide and two percent in Seoul, the ratings have soared through the roof.

The highest single point ratings the drama had was 11.3 percent nationwide and 15.8 percent in Seoul, in the scene when Jang Geu Rae (Im Si Wan) and Oh Sang Shik (Lee Sung Min) go to Jordan and chase down the person that stole their company’s sample product.

The last episode especially saw high viewer ratings in men and women in their 40s (6.9 percent and 10 percent, respectively).

The season may be over, but there are strong signs that Misaeng will be coming out with a second season.

*According to Nielsen Korea, the final episode recorded 8.4 percent, with a 10.3 percent ratings peak. It broke its own record for highest episode ratings.
