BTS, BEAST, and GOT7 Hold 1st in Current Golden Disc Awards Standings for Fan Votes
According to the Golden Disc Awards website, BTS, BEAST, and GOT7 are currently placed first in the fields for Album of the Year, Digital Album of the Year, and New Artist of the Year, respectively.
BTS’ “Dark & Wild” album currently has 22.23 percent (5,598) of the votes in the Album division. They overtook TAEMIN’s “Ace”, which had been leading the polls yesterday. In second is EXO’s “Overdose” (4,304 votes), and Super Junior’s “MAMACITA” holds third place (4,202 votes).
In the Digital Album of the Year division, BEAST’s “Good Luck” sits at the top with 2,390 votes. Runner-up is EXO’s “Overdose” with 1,680 votes, and Girls’ Generation’s “Mr. Mr.” is right behind EXO with 1,603 votes.
GOT7 leads the New Artist division with 5,676 votes, WINNER is in close contention with GOT7 at second place with 5,382 votes, and Bernard Park is in third with 146 votes.
The standing votes are as of 3:40 p.m., December 21.
The 29th Golden Disc Awards will be held in Beijing from January 14 to January 15.
