Kan Mi Youn to Make Acting Debut in New Drama Series “Kill Me Heal Me”

Former Baby V.O.X member-turned solo singer Kan Mi Youn is set to make her acting debut with an appearance in upcoming MBC drama “Kill Me Heal Me.”

The makers of the new series, which was originally set to star Lee Seung Gi, have already confirmed Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum as the main leads. The drama tells the tale of a rich society heir who suffers from a personality disorder.

Production staff explained that Kan Mi Youn will be playing a mysterious beauty in the show, and said that there was a lot of positive energy during the scenes that she filmed.

Kan Mi Youn made her musical debut as part of Baby V.O.X in 1997, and has had several solo hits since the group disbanded, such as “Crazy” and “Paparazzi.”

“Kill Me Heal Me” is slated to begin airing on Wednesday and Thursday evenings sometime in January.
