What Happened During the 2014 SBS Gayo Daejun That Made Jeon Hyun Moo Apologize to EXO's Kai?

Jeon Hyun Moo recently offered an apology to EXO’s Kai after he was caught on camera ignoring the EXO member, unknowingly, during the 2014 SBS Gayo Daejun ceremony.

On December 23, Jeon Hyun Moo posted a humorous message on his personal Twitter account that reads, “The ultimate episode of the heartless Hyun Moo series – Kai! I’m sorryㅠㅠI didn’t see you~~ I love you♡EXO! Awake or asleep, EXO love♡,” along with a video clip showing what had happened.

The footage was taken by a fan who was filming Kai at SBS Gayo Daejun on December 21. In the video, Kai can be seen sitting in the artists’ seating area, when he suddenly looks happy to discover Jeon Hyun Moo, who was walking up to the stage to present an award. After seeing him, Kai tries to call out his name multiple times, only to be ignored by Jeon Hyun Moo.

It seems that Jeon Hyun Moo took to his SNS to personally send his apologies to Kai, after belatedly becoming aware of this accident, explaining that he did not ignore the EXO member intentionally. Jeon Hyun Moo also expressed his love for EXO, as he has gotten close with the members after hosting the group’s Mnet variety program “EXO 90:2014” in the past.
