JYJ to Release First Japanese Single 'Wake Me Tonight' in January 2015

After successfully completing the Fukuoka leg of their “2014 Japan Dome Tour Ichigo Ichie,” JYJ announced that they will be releasing their first single in Japan next year.

On December 23, at the first night of their concert in Fukuoka, Japan, JYJ announced that they will drop their debut single in the country entitled “Wake Me Tonight” at the beginning of next year.

According to reports by various Japanese media such as Nikkan Sports and Sankei Sports, fans rejoiced and cheered as the group announced that the song “Wake Me Tonight,” which was first revealed to their fans at their Tokyo Dome concert held last November 18, will be released as a single in Japan next year. The song is an upbeat track which conveys JYJ’s energy to the listeners.

“Wake Me Tonight” is slated to be released on January 21, 2015. It will contain the track “Wake Me Tonight,” the Japanese version of “Back Seat,” and an instrumental version of the single.
