Kim So Eun Says People Approach Her More Easily after "We Got Married"
Actress Kim So Eun recently had an interview and a fashion photo shoot with lifestyle magazine Sure.
During the interview, she talked about how she has changed thanks to her virtual marriage variety show “We Got Married.”
“As there’s no need for me to act, I show my natural self through the show,” she said, “I realized how powerful variety shows can be through this show. More people approach me now than ever before. Until now, I was busy hiding myself, but with the show, I feel more comfortable showing my true self to others.”
Next year will be Kim So Eun’s 11th year in acting, and she spoke about her acting career during the interview as well. “When I was filming ‘Empress Cheonchu‘ or ‘Boys over Flowers,’ I didn’t know anything. I didn’t have any time, and there were many moments where I went head on with just passion. I was too busy learning. The drama ‘The King’s Doctor‘ was a turning point for me. I looked back and had the chance to think more about myself. Prior to the drama, I was very shy and introverted, but through my character on that drama, I became very outgoing.”
She continued, “‘[‘The King’s Doctor’] was popular, and I felt more at ease afterwards. I don’t think many people were worried for me when I started ‘Liar’s Game.’ I tried to live up to the expectation, and I’m thankful for the positive feedback.”
Kim So Eun is currently enjoying her virtual marriage to actor Song Jae Rim on “We Got Married.”
