Blast from the Past: Behind-the-Scenes Photos of "Infinity Challenge" 90s Special
Get ready for a blast from the past with behind-the-scenes photos from the “Saturday Saturday Is a Singer” special from “Infinity Challenge.”
Hit artists from the 1990s, including Jinusean, Turbo, S.E.S., Cool, Jo Sung Mo, and Kim Gun Mo, got together to perform for the “I Am a Singer” parody, “Saturday Saturday Is a Singer.”
Bada uploaded a number of behind-the-scenes cuts from the show on December 27 to her official Twitter account. Although fellow S.E.S. member Eugene was missed, Seohyun of Girl’s Generation seamlessly completed the trio.
Bada’s pictures transport us back to a time when wearing baggy wide-leg pants and pulling back your hair save for a few strands at the front was cool. The throwbacks continued after the concert, when Jinusean, Turbo, and Kim Hyun Jung took pictures with S.E.S. holding old school records of their albums.
The “Saturday Saturday Is a Singer” special, which aired on December 27, recorded the show’s highest viewership rating all year. According to TNMS, the episode recorded a 24.8 percent viewership rating by the Seoul capital area standard. According to another TV ratings agency, Nielsen Korea, the episode earned 21.9 percent in the Seoul capital area and a national rating of 19.8 percent.
The next episode of “Infinity Challenge,” which will air on January 3, will continue the “Saturday Saturday Is a Singer” special, featuring a performance of “Festival” by sexy queen Uhm Jung Hwa and “Tell Me” by Jinusean.
