Im Siwan to Attend 2014 MBC Drama Awards as a Presenter

Im Siwan will be attending the 2014 MBC Drama Awards.

According to a number of broadcast associates, Im Siwan will be attending the 2014 MBC Drama Awards on December 30 as a presenter.

With the relationships that he made while he acted in MBC’s “Triangle“ as Jang Dong Soo, he will attend the MBC Drama Awards as a presenter amidst his busy schedules.

Im Siwan was nominated for Best New Actor for his work in the movie “The Attorney” for the Grand Bell Awards as well as the Blue Dragon Film Awards. While he did not win those awards, he received the Popular Star Award at both ceremonies, proving his popularity once again.

Im Siwan is a member of idol group ZE:A, and began his work as an actor on MBC’s drama “The Moon Embraces the Sun” in 2012, where he proved his potential as an actor.

Afterwards, Im Siwan appeared in a number of works, and played Jin Woo on the box-office hit “The Attorney,” a university student activist who is accused of being pro-communist and is tortured as a result. He recently played Jang Geu Rae in tvN’s “Misaeng,” earning high praises for his acting and solidifying his place as a new actor to watch for.
