Super Junior’s Leeteuk Breaks Down in Tears: “2014 Is a Year I Want to Erase from My Memory”

Super Junior’s leader, Leeteuk, broke down in tears as he opened up about the trials and hardships he was faced with during the year.

The upcoming December 31 broadcast of MBC Music’s reality program “One Fine Day” will show Super Junior members Leeteuk, Eunhyuk, and Donghae as they enjoy a vacation in Switzerland.

During the trip, however, Leeteuk honestly confessed the inner feelings he had kept hidden about the difficulties he overcame in 2014.

Following a paragliding experience in Zermatt, Switzerland, Leeteuk sat down to talk about it in an interview with producers. He started off by saying, “There was a lot that I wanted to say just before I started running. I was going to say the things I haven’t been able to say, but it was so chaotic that I couldn’t say any of it.”

The Super Junior member continued to share, “I think 2014 is a year that I would like to erase from my memory. As I was going up the tall mountain, I thought a lot about how I was even just a little bit closer to my dad, grandma, and grandpa in heaven,” as he shed tears thinking about the painful memory.

Super Junior’s “One Fine Day” is scheduled to be broadcast on December 31 at 12 p.m. (KST).
