New KBS Drama "Spy" Releases Intriguing Teaser Video
The upcoming KBS drama “Spy” has released an intriguing teaser video that gives a glimpse of the characters in the family espionage drama.
The trailer video introduced the main characters of the drama in the 55-second clip. First shown as normal and common people, the trailer showed just what separates the characters apart from the normal people.
Bae Jong Ok, who plays the role of an ex-spy, was seen as a “common” mother who wears an apron and cooks food for her son. Kim Jaejoong, who plays the role of genius analyst, appears as a “common” office worker who is getting home from work and talking to his mother, Bae Jong Ok. Finally, a dark character, played by Yoo Oh Sung, was shown holding the family photo of Bae Jong Ok and Kim Jae Joong, adding to the intrigue about the relationship of the three main characters.
“Spy” is based on the Israeli drama “The Gordin Cell.” It tells the story of an ex-spy mother (Bae Jong Ok) and her son Seon Woo (Kim Jaejoong) who works for the National Intelligence Service. It will be a new hybrid drama, mixing the usual family drama genre with spy thriller elements.
“Spy” airs its two-episode premiere on January 9, 2015 from 9:30 p.m. until 11:10 p.m. (KST).
