Akdong Musician's Lee Chan Hyuk Is Disappointed That Yang Hyun Suk Doesn't Mind Him Dating

On a special episode of SBS’s “Healing Camp,” featuring the winners and runners-up of the previous seasons of “K-Pop Star,” Akdong Musician’s Lee Chan Hyuk shared a happening with Yang Hyun Suk, the CEO of YG Entertainment.

Lee Chan Hyuk confessed, “[This year] all I have been thinking about was getting a girlfriend. I prepared my heart [for a “no”] as I approached Yang Hyun Suk to ask for permission to date.”

Yang Hyun Suk’s reaction was not one he had expected. “He simply replied very coolly, ‘Okay, go ahead.’ I was disappointed at his answer because it made me feel that I am not important in our team,” Lee Chang Hyuk explained.

Listening to her brother complain, Lee Soo Hyun gave an explanation for Yang Hyun Suk’s reaction by commenting, “Even if you are in a love scandal, YG’s stock price wouldn’t be affected,” making the guests and MCs burst out in laughter.
