Im Siwan Impresses with Witty Acceptance Speech at 2014 MBC Drama Awards

Im Siwan’s acceptance speech on December 30 at the 2014 MBC Drama Awards is getting attention from netizens for being witty and polished.

He received the Best New Actor Award for his work in the drama “Triangle.” He said, “I came today with no idea that I would receive an award. Actually, I really wanted the Best Child Actor Award I was nominated for last year. I feel good receiving this award that I didn’t expect […] But I will not put too much weight on the award I received tonight. Rather, I will become an actor who is always a student of the craft and who always approaches acting with a strong passion.”

He finished his speech by saying, “Also, I will personally contact the people I want to thank. As I don’t have the phone numbers of my fans, I will say my thanks to them here.”

Fellow ZE:A member Kwanghee also had people laughing with witty comments that day. He attended the 2014 SBS Entertainment Awards, which was held at the same time as the 2014 MBC Drama Awards.
