SBS Clarifies "Pinocchio" Will Only Air One Episode on January 1

On December 31, SBS clarified to the viewers regarding the broadcast of the drama series “Pinocchio.”

“The SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Pinocchio’ will only air its 15th episode on January 1. After this, the film ‘The Face Reader’ (which stars “Pinocchio” lead actor Lee Jong Suk) will be shown,” said a representative from SBS Drama.

It was earlier announced that the drama series will air its 15th and 16th episodes back to back on Thursday, January 1 as it will not air on Wednesday to give way to the 2014 SBS Drama Awards.

“On January 1, 2015, we’ll air the film ‘The Face Reader’ which will be a good movie to watch on the first day of the year. The 16th episode of ‘Pinocchio’ will air next week instead. We hope you maintain your interest in the remaining episodes of the drama,” said the representative.

“Pinocchio” stars Lee Jong Suk, Park Shin Hye, Lee Yoo Bi, and Kim Young Kwang. It is a drama that tells the story of reporters in the fast-turning and often cruel journalism industry, is planned to air for 20 episodes. It has recently reclaimed the number one spot in its time slot, beating “The King’s Face” and “Mr. Baek.”
