Photos From Kim Junsu's Solo Concert Series Released
Photos have been released showing JYJ member Kim Junsu wearing a little red riding hood outfit during his year-end concert. The photo was uploaded to the group’s official Facebook page on December 31 along with the words, “Surprising, right? Today’s going to be more spectacular! Just wait!” The photos came from the first of Junsu’s two-day solo concert series, “2014 XIA Ballad & Musical Concert with Orchestra vol.3,” and show him playing handbells and draped in a red cloak.
His handbell performance has certainly proved to be a major topic of conversation. During the concert, Junsu sang “A Lover’s Concerto” while playing handbells in tune with a harp, guitar, and piano, drawing cries and shouts from the crowd. He also had a “genie time,” where he sang and danced requests from the audience, and donned a red cloak and performed a fairytale that had been prepared by fans.
“We created the concept for this concert around the idea of an “ever-giving Junsu,” and through that concept we get a glimpse of his many charms. At today’s concert, Junsu will perform the New Year’s countdown together with fans in order to give them a very special memory,” said a representative of the concert.
The second night of Junsu’s crowd-pleasing concert series starts at 10 p.m. KST on December 31.
