After School’s Lizzy Set to Unveil Solo Debut on January 17

After School member Lizzy has revealed details of her solo debut. The star will release a digital single on January 17 (tentatively) titled “I Am Not an Easy Girl,” which has previously been described as a “semi-Trot” song. Lizzy’s solo single album, meanwhile, is slated for release on January 23.

A spokesperson for After School’s talent agency Pledis explained, “At the end of last year, Lizzy performed the song for a pre-recording of the KBS show ‘National Singing Contest.’ That episode will air on January 17. It will be the first time that an idol star has made their solo debut on this show.”

After an eventful 2014, which saw the star score big hits as part of the After School subunit Orange Caramel, Lizzy is gearing up for a very busy start to 2015. In addition to making her solo debut, the singer will also become the co-host of Olive TV’s food show “Tasty Road.”
