Former After School Member Jooyeon Signs to Same Agency as Song Seung Hun
Former After School member Jooyeon has signed with talent agency Better Ent, according to media outlet MyDaily.
The star made her debut with as a founding member of Pledis Entertainment’s After School in 2009, but last year announced that she would be departing from the group when her contract expired at the end of 2014.
MyDaily explained that several broadcast media experts had confirmed the fact that Better Ent had signed the former girl group member. Other artists currently on the Better Ent roster include the likes of Song Seung Hun and Chae Jung Ahn.
Jooyeon had previously hinted at a new development in her career in the form of a post on the official After School fan café that read, “I am going to graduate from After School, and I will be looking for new challenges. I want to let you know in advance that you might be surprised by this news. I feel excited and a little nervous about my new challenge.”
Jooyeon has previously starred in television drama such as “Smile Donghae” and “Hotel King,” and may look to gain more acting experience as part of her new career move.
